About the Artist

Artist Statement
      I am a multimedia visual artist who works mainly in painting and sculpture. I explore various different mediums and materials – material comes secondary to concept in my work. I explore themes of identity, obsession, queerness, religious trauma and Christian deconstruction in my art. I draw connections between my experiences and a large personal library of visual imagery. I explore my Self through a series of alternating characters, including,  goats, cicadas, long nosed dogs, totally real and cool family-oriented street racers, imprisoned ex billionaires, and pop culture icons like Garfield the cat.
